Tony Romo, Jessica Simpson Split On Eve Of Her Birthday

It appears that Jessica Simpson cancelled her Barbie and Ken themed, 29th birthday party because her real-life Ken wasn’t going to be there – Tony Romo apparently dumped Simpson the night before the party.
After cancelling the party Simpson wrote on her Twitter page: ‘Barbie party didn’t happen, but I turned 29 and feel like I am on top of the world yelling I LOVE GETTING OLDER.’
However, according to a source close to the singer, Simpson isn’t taking the split quite as lightly as her Twitter page would have you believe. “She is heartbroken,” says the source. “She loves Tony. But it’s been difficult lately.” Having dated Romo since 2007, Simpson called him “the love of my life,” and often spoke of wanting children with him.
Hey Jessica – any guy who would dump you the night before your birthday party probably wouldn’t be a good candidate for the father of your kids, anyways. But isn’t Nick single again? He’d make an awesome dad!
