Madonna Concert Tragedy, Stage Collapse Kills Worker

A stage being built for Madonna’s concert in Marseille, France collapsed this morning, killing one crew member and injuring six more. Madonna and her brood were apparently not at the scene when the tragedy struck.

Apparently, a crane was moving the stage when it collapsed, falling on the construction crew below.

Madonna and her family were set to arrive along with the rest of the Sticky & Sweet tour on Sunday. But, according to the Marseille city counsellor, the concert has been canceled.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families.
