Break out the flared cords and glitter gel, Baby Loves Disco is coming to Australia!
The event, which started in Philadelphia (where it has been sold out since it started) has spread across the USA and to countries as diverse as Israel, Poland, Japan and the UK.
Australia’s first baby disco will be held at Slide nightclub in Sydney’s Darlinghurst.
Local parents can expect bubble machines, temporary tattoos, feather boas and healthy snack food. Adults can buy real drinks (read: alcohol) on the way to the nappy change stations. Kids can grab a goodie bag and enter best dancer competitions.
For safety precautions, no adult will be let in without a child.
The daytime event will feature a live DJ and flashing dancefloors. It will be held on Sunday, August 23, from 1pm to 4pm at Slide nightclub in Darlinghurst, with a second on September 27. Tickets are $17 for walkers (crawlers free) from moshtix.com.au.
