First Look: Radio Flyer EZ-Rider Scooter
Posted by Editors at 4:15 PM on July 20, 2009
It has become apparent in my neighbourhood that scooters are being issued to toddlers as soon as they take their first steps. And now that the sun is shining (finally!) the scooter brigade is a reminder that we’re late to the game, per usual. But this time it’s working in our favor as the EZ-Rider from Radio Flyer is new to market and specially designed for those scooters who scoot and are over the age of three.
This “intermediate” scooter has an extra wide board and the wheels are low to the ground to help with balance for the little ones, but is sturdy enough to hold, say, a 30-something mum who wants to feel the wind in her hair (not recommended by Radio Flyer, btw). Shunning the three- for the two-wheel action, the EZ-Rider will be parked near your front door for many years to come, making this affordable option even more so. – April Peveteaux
