Having kids in today’s economy means knowing where to cut costs. But one thing no parent wants is actual cutting corners. So here’s a way to spend a little to get a lot, at least of protection from sharp edges. The designers over at Ikea now produce the Patrull, an adhesive, hand-shaped corner bumper. Available in red, black or white, this $AU12.95 pack of eight ABS plastic and synthetic rubber pieces is easy to apply. And with a Patrull set in place any slip into the furniture your child may encounter will feel closer to a high-five from a playful Swede than a sharp, painful blow from a viking.
