New Stormtrooper Commander Figure: Going, Going…

Timed around this year’s Comic-Con International, this limited-edition, can’t-get-it-in-stores Star Wars Stormtrooper Commander Action Figure probably wasn’t designed with play-hungry kids in mind. (Something about the fact that it’s marketed as being sold ”in protective plastic case” just doesn’t invite you to rip the sucker open.) That said, I’m currently viewing the thing with a Star Wars-crazed 9-year-old looking over my shoulder and pleading, “Oh, please, Dad — does this mean we’re getting one?” Sorry, buddy — Dad’s just window-shopping tonight.
