Madonna’s Daughter To Star In Her Music Video

It’s none too surprising that Madonna’s 12-year-old daughter Lourdes is “desperate to be an actress,” what with growing up in the shadow of arguably the largest pop icon of the last twenty years.  For the first time, Madonna is helping her daughter achieve the fame she seeks by having her star in one of Madonna’s upcoming music videos.

Fortunately, we’re not talking “Like a Virgin” or “Papa, Don’t Preach,” but rather the upbeat and family-friendly hit “Celebration.”

I’m normally livid at parents who push their kids into the limelight, but in this case, it seems that Madonna waited until her daughter was old enough to decide for herself whether she wanted to seek fame and fortune. Something tells me she won’t have too much trouble achieving them.
