Jude Law To Stand By Samantha Burke & The Baby

Samantha Burke, the 24-year-old model, who is pregnant with Jude Law’s fourth baby, has spoken out and denies the claims from her own mother that Jude doesn’t want anything to do with their child. Burke said her mum’s comments were taken out of context.

Lea Burke, Samantha’s mother, allegedly said, “Jude didn’t want the baby,” and that her daughter was “terrified” to tell Jude that she was pregnant with his baby. She added, “It would be nice if the father was around, but that’s not going to happen because of his job and Samantha knows that.”

Samantha and her lawyers held a press conference outside her mum’s Florida home last Friday (July 31) because they wanted it known that Jude Law has every intention of supporting her and their child.

Burke’s attorney said, “Samantha and her mother would like to be clear that comments attributed to her mother and media stories reported in the last 24 hours regarding Jude’s contact with Samantha and his involvement were taken out of context.

“Samantha, her mum and her family can confirm Jude has been responsive and supportive throughout the relationship and pregnancy and know that he will remain so as a father once baby Sophia is born.

“Jude and Samantha remain committed to the health and well-being of this child and appreciate your honouring her privacy during this special time.”

Samantha added, “I just really would appreciate if everyone could respect my privacy. It’s a hard time.”

Good to know Jude Law is going to stand by his child. He’s already dad to Rafferty, 12, Iris, 8, and Rudy, 6, with ex-wife Sadie Frost, and stepdad to Sadie’s oldest son, Munro, 18.
