Maddox Jolie-Pitt Turns 8!

Happy Birthday Maddox Chivan – for yesterday! The adopted child of Angelina Jolie (and later Brad Pitt) was born on August 5th, 2001 in Cambodia. Less than a year later, he met his future mother at an orphanage in Battambang while she was there filming Tomb Raider, and the rest is history…
According to Angelina:
“He changed everything, but in the most wonderful way. Everything that should matter, matters. He’s absolutely the centre of my life.”
Apparently, Maddox is partially responsible for getting Brad and Ange together. Angie brought him on to the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith, where the toddler immediately took to Brad, scoring him major points with Angelina. Says Angie:
“Maddox out of the blue called him Dad. It was amazing.”
Personally, I think Brad taught him to say that while Angie was busy filming. But still, it worked.
