stangietwins1 238x300 The Angelina Jolie Breastfeeding StatueAngelina Jolie is a superstar, an icon and to some, a goddess. She’s regularly put on a pedestal and worshipped by the world’s celebrity loving masses. The artist Daniel Edwards has opted to honour Angie in a very unique way, with a life-sized statue representing the mum of six breastfeeding her twins Knox and Vivienne.

The piece is entitled “Landmark for Breastfeeding” and features Angelina feeding the babies in the ‘football’ hold. It is said that it was inspired by the “private” nursing photo Brad Pitt took of Angelina for W Magazine. Past sculptures by Daniel Edwards include ones of Britney Spears giving birth and of Octomom as a hot pink octopus. This piece will debut in September at the Mainsite Contemporary Art space in Norman, Oklahoma. (Source – DLISTED)
