Ashlee Simpson: Motherhood Has Made Me Happy

Ashlee Simpson became a mum for the first time last November when she and husband Pete Wentz welcomed their son Bronx Mowgli. Now, Ashelee, 24, says motherhood has made her the happiest she has ever been.
“Motherhood has made me everything that I am. It’s made me the happiest I’ve ever been in my life. I don’t think you ever know until you have a child what an amazing experience it is.”
Every week, I’m learning something new from him and every week, he’s doing something new. He’s crawling and he’s got six teeth now. He says ‘mama’ and ‘dada’.
Ashley added that she feels lucky to be able to balance motherhood and work. On her upcoming role in the remake of Melrose Place, the singer/actress explained, “For me, it’s good. I’m home in Los Angeles, it’s comfortable with me and my son. I like to work, so I get to do both.”
Sounds like Ashlee is in a good place. Guess all that hoopla about an unhappy family life was nonsense. *Whistles*
