Victoria Beckham Disappoints In American Idol

Last week, the gossip world was abuzz with rumours that Victoria Beckham would replace Paula Abdul on American Idol. This week, the big news is that Vicky will probably be spending a hell of a lot of time looking after her sons in the next few months. In other words: her AI debut sucked.
From Radar’s supposed inside source:
“It didn’t go too well…
“She tried to hard to be ‘nice,’ but came off as icy and wooden,” the source added.
That’s not to say that anyone was really expecting the busy fashion designer, sometime singer and celebrity mum to be just bursting at the seams with colourful, witty comments for the tone-deaf contestants. Still, when the words used to describe your performance are icy, wooden, stiff and corpse-like, you know that you’re probably not going to be an Idol mainstay.
Posh was apparently looking to make a wholly different impression on AI viewers:
“I’m going to try hard to pout and not shatter the illusion that I’m a moody cow, but I don’t know if I can – I’m just so happy!”
Oh well, she gave it a go… and I’m sure she got paid handsomely for the effort. Now she can go back to her life coach Tom Cruise and ask him what she should do next.
