nicole richie baby 225x300 Joel And Nicole Tweet About Their SparrowThat baby-naming expert may have had a pretty decent new-agey explanation for why Nicole Richie and Joel Madden named their kid Sparrow, but I think they chose a bird name simply because both of them are Twitter addicts. Both parents have already taken the time to Tweet about their 3.18kg newborn.

From Joel’s Twitter Page:

“1st day of his life & my son is already a trending topic on twitter. That’s right son, ur just like your old man. wait,i’ve never been a #TT”

He’s right though, baby Sparrow has been born into a level of fame that most people never come close to experiencing. That’s gotta be weird. Not necessarily bad, but weird.

After having a turbulent and quiet week on her page—a week in which her ex-fiance DJ AM passed away and she was admitted to the hospital to cope—Nicole has rejoined the twitterverse. From Nicole Richie’s Twitter site:

“What a great day to come back on Twitter. Thank you everyone for your well wishes. I love my family!!”
