Jon Gosselin’s Actions Are Hurting His Children

jon gosselin gma 300x209 Jon Gosselins Actions Are Hurting His ChildrenJon Gosselin’s latest interview with ABC’s Chris Cuomo was supposed to show him in a better light to the public. However, it didn’t turn out quite that way and the worst part about it?  His actions are only going to hurt his eight children.

Gosselin’s Good Morning America and prime time’s Family Secrets interviews, were geared to try to help the reality TV dad’s public imagine, but… FAIL.

Jon made some angry comments about Kate and their marriage/pending divorce, and he’s apparently not seeing the big picture: that his actions and words will only upset their eight kids.

Jon talked of how much more he loves his new 22-year-old girlfriend, Hailey Glassman, than he ever loved Kate and how he can’t even stand to sit next to Kate, among other things…all stuff the children will probably one day see. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but now there is a record of their father saying hurtful things about their mother.

Cathy Meyer, a Certified Divorce Coach, Marriage Educator and Legal Investation, who writes for About.com, says Jon is absolutely hurting his kids and doesn’t seem to get that they are suffering through the pain of their parents divorcing.

“Every action he takes and every word he speaks reflects badly on his children and only subjects them to more attention from the media. Why can’t Jon see that?”

Because he’s acting like an idiot right now? He really needs to get a clue and stop trashing Kate. Fine, if he wants to slam her behind closed doors where no one hears him, whatever. But to put it all out, on record, just not cool. And eight small children will be the ones to suffer.

Wonder how the Gosselin kids will enjoy meeting the new girlfriend this weekend? Jon has been parading her around their town today and he’s set to bring her home. Yet another huge error in judgment.

Maybe if TLC boots his bum off the show along with his salary (he gets half, but Kate did not ask for child support), then maybe he will go away. he doesn’t want to be a father, or on the show. He is so mental that he actually thinks he is appealing to the public. He has serious mental issues

Jon should grow up and stop acting like a big baby. His only beef with Kate was that she was working and leaving him with the kids. Oh boo hoo! Plenty of fathers are not working now and their wifes are stepping up and doing all they can to support the tribe. He should just get off his rump and start supporting those kids with real $$$, not sucking off their notoriety and buying himself a lot of toys! Grow up Jon your whinning is getting to us all!

  • KC says:

I hope Kate gets full custody of the children. Jon is not making choices in the children’s best interest. He is seriously effed up.
