Australian St George Illawarra Dragons rugby player Matt Cooper and his wife Dallas welcomed their first child, a daughter, who they named Indie, two weeks ago.  And already the proud daddy is protective of his little girl.

When asked if he’d be a protective daddy, Cooper said, “Yeah, I was already in the hospital.  She was getting passed around to everyone and I was starting to get annoyed.  I was like, ‘just let her rest.’”

He added that he would not want his baby girl going out with footballers one day… “No.  No way. We’re with him on that one.

Mind you, don’t you just love protective dad types?! And yeah, Matt Cooper is pretty easy on the eye, too…
