Ashlee Simpson Wentz has an all-star kid. That is if you believe his shoes. Here the one-year-old sported a pair of chocolate brown Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Core Hi-Tops for the infant/toddler set. Yes, these are standard issue for all tiny hip young things. You can pick up a pair of these classic kicks from Zappos here for $US23, and of course they come in a whole slew of colours.

She told OK! magazine, “Every Valentine’s Day is sweet. Pete’s very creative, so he’s always coming up with something clever and surprising me. Hopefully, I’ll surprise him this year.”

As for motherhood, Simpson loves it. She shared that 15-month-old Bronx does sign language and just likes to have fun.

“I love being a mother. We’re together all the time. Bronx is definitely finding himself, and he’s getting his own personality, so hide-and-seek, and new little things. He does sign language, so that’s been fun,” she gushed.

Regarding Bronx, nice to know he knows sign language. Did you teach your child how to sign?

A source said the reason for selling is that:

“The house is built into the side of a giant hill and it doesn’t really have any yard. Now that Bronx is getting older, they realised that really isn’t a child-friendly house.” They continued to say, “they are going to sell this house and look for something that will be better suited to young children.”

“Pete isn’t worried about stretch marks. He always makes me feel sexy. There’s going to be a time when I’m way curvier, and that’ll be sexy too. What defines sexy is not someone’s weight. Personally I like curves… I want to look good for me. I want to feel good.”

She told Women’s Health magazine that their son is keeping her in shape. She said, “I do Bronx Pilates! And these biceps are from holding him. He’s in my arms all the time.” She also mentioned that marriage and a family has changed her saying “Being married made me able to share more. Now Pete and Bronx come first. It has humbled me.”

US Star Magazine has a ’source’ that said, “Ashlee wants to start a clothing line. She wants it to be both preppy and punk rock. She thinks she can really succeed in fashion.”

But maybe big sis Jessica can give her some tips since she’s done pretty well with her clothing, shoe and handbag line.

An insider revealed, “She’s reading scripts. Acting is her focus now. If she had an album, she’d have to tour and be away from Bronx. She wants consistency….”

Ironically she just got dumped from CW’s Melrose Place. Looks like she’ll have plenty of time on her hands now.

I’m not sure if Ashlee Simpson is on board with this or not, but her husband Pete Wentz wants a soccer team of kids!

Pete does want a lot of children but right now, those plans will have to wait.

“Everything is awesome about being a dad,” said Wentz, who is father to 10-month-old Bronx Mowgli.  “Eventually we want to be able to have a soccer team.”

The Fall Out Boy band member added that he and Ashlee have to “schedule and time things right… Ashlee is really focused on Melrose Place right now and I’m figuring what I’m doing next year.” 

Pete loves being a father.  He said, “The best part for me now is that I think for the first 9 months mum is so essential.  When they start hanging out with dad more you’re like, ‘Wow I feel like a dad.’  You go to music class and do fun stuff together, it’s cool.”

And now that Pete is a daddy, he can appreciate his own father.  “It makes me realise all of the little things that my dad sacrificed when he had me.  It’s sad it took 30 years but I totally realise it now.”

Oh, good, I only have 8 years for my oldest to appreciate me!  Ha.
