Once again, it appears that Brad and Ange are using their “divide and conquer” strategy (not as brutal as it sounds) to manage their family outings. Brad must be back at the hotel with Knox, Vivienne and Pax.

No matter your opinion on Brad and Angelina’s lifestyle choices, you have to admit that being one of the Jolie-Pitt clan is no doubt a world traveller’s dream childhood. With all of its art, architecture, and winding, narrow lanes, Venice is certainly on the top of my list when it comes to travel destinations.

When you have six kids spanning the ages of 19 months and eight years old, you’re apt to divide up your kid’s outings to accommodate their varied interests and ages. This week Brangelina was spotted taking their oldest sons, Maddox and Pax to do some sightseeing in Venice. But usually this busy power couple are seen separately with a set combination of kids. The breakdown usually goes something like this:

Angelina takes the girls. She has been spotted going shopping with Shiloh and Zahara and has taken them to dance class.

Brad’s often spotted hanging with the boys. He’s been seen taking Pax and Maddox on boys only outings to eateries in New York City and even on a helicopter ride.

Plus the very rare one on one date. Like Brad taking Maddox to the Superbowl or Angelina going shopping with Shiloh.

There are some instances of cross over like Angelina taking all four older kids to the Apple store or Brad taking the older kids around the streets of Venice.

But when they are all together, they seem to get ice cream!

They gave their 19-month-old twins ice cream cones! Now it’s not the ice cream itself that is the problem, it is the vehicle it is delivered on. Most parents of babies and toddlers live by the “in a cup please” rule. But not Brangelina, they live on the edge! And not only that, but Brad and Angelina both are juggling a twin while holding their own cones and they’re navigating a flight of steep steps. Perhaps they all just were born with great balance or perhaps it’s just because they can afford the dry-cleaning bills, but I for one would have opted for the cup-

Naturally, Brad would like his brood to be able to socialise with other youngsters and make friends under semi-normal circumstances. Unfortunately, that’s one of the most difficult things to provide for your kids when your names are Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.

According to ShowbizSpy, Brad and Angie are very committed to building a strong sense of family, but they do have their disagreements about how to raise their six little ones. Namely, Brad would really like his kids to have the opportunity to go to school:

“They do their best to travel with the children and take them to kid-friendly places 
like amusement parks and petting zoos. But because they’re currently being home schooled, they rarely spend time with other kids. Brad wants to change this, but he’s not sure how because school poses security issues. They don’t have the opportunity to socialize like other children, but other kids don’t have the paparazzi hunting them down.”

Coming from someone who hated school and would have much rather been homeschooled, I can definitely identify with Brad’s concerns. But being homeschooled is one thing. Getting homeschooled while flying all over the world with no constants except your family and the paparazzi? That’s another thing entirely.

I hear Brad has that effect on women.

The actress, who is raising six kids with Pitt, told Marie Claire that being with the actor made her want to experience biological motherhood.

“When I met him…I didn’t want to get pregnant,” Angelina says. “I always wanted to adopt, but I never had the desire of experiencing biological motherhood.

“I want to raise my children correctly and help them to understand the inequality that exists in the world.”

The actress also says that her Mr. and Mrs. Smith costar “taught me to be more patient and to enjoy everything that we have.”

Father-of-six Brad Pitt was left out of the Best Actor category, surprising since his performance in Inglourious Basterds was critically praised and earned him a Screen Actors Guild nod. Fellow dad Daniel Day-Lewis also got shut out of the same category despite being nominated for a Golden Globe for Nine.

Julia Roberts won’t be telling her three kids to “go to bed” from the Oscar stage; the actress didn’t receive a Best Actress nod for Duplicity although she was nominated for a Golden Globe.

And looks like Clint Eastwood’s daughters, who often accompany their dad to red carpet events, won’t be able to cheer for him on Oscar night — he was left out of the Best Director category for his work on Invictus.
