OK, she doesn’t worship Satan (or at least she hasn’t ‘fessed up to it yet). Apparently Britney’s Twitter account is what’s possessed here — not necessarily the lip-synching pop diva.

While I do blame demonic possession for at least 80% of what Britney Spears has done over the last decade, it appears that the Satanic tweets were fake.

Personally, I thought the prank was hilarious. The hacker even made a border for the page out of Illuminati symbols. Very clever.

After her first show in Perth, reports are going around that Britney is “extremely upset” by negative media reports that Aussie fans walked out on her show because they were appalled at her stiff, fake performance.

Say’s Britney’s rep:

“Britney is aware of all this and she’s extremely upset by it… She’s a human being. I’m embarrassed, with such a big international entourage here with Britney, to be part of the Australian media when I see that kind of totally inaccurate reporting.”

If you’re reading between the lines, it sounds as if Britney’s promoter is basically asking people to cut Brit some slack because she’s fragile (emotionally and psychologically). It’s certainly not good news for a mother who’s battling back to get custody of her kids after years of psychological breakdowns.

But really. Who over the age of 14 is surprised that Britney lip-syncs on tour? It’s hard to believe that anybody would really be surprised by this, much less outraged.

Even Britney’s toddlers know that. Jeez.

In an interview with E!, High School Musical’s KayCee Stroh (who just so happens to be K-Fed’s team leader) had this to say:

“Kevin’s as cool as a cucumber. He keeps it all together. All the rest of us are sobbing like babies, but Kevin is pretty calm and collected…

He’s actually quite shy and quiet and soft-spoken. But when he pipes in, he’s very funny and really witty…

He’ll take constructive criticism very well.”

Really? That pretty much goes completely against my idea of K-Fed. It almost reads like a pre-schooler’s progress report.

He may not be the best role model or anything, but he did step up and take care of the boys when Britney went cuckoo. Maybe he’s not such a bad father after all…

Looks like K-Fed has some real competition for his boys’ affections. Britney and Jason were spotted on vacation in Zihuatanejo, Mexico, where onlookers say Jason looked extremely dad-like. I wonder if this kind of stuff makes K-Fed jealous?

“Jason was great with the kids and you can tell Britney really trusts him,” an eyewitness to the group’s three-night getaway at the Tides Zihuatanejo resort in Mexico earlier this month, tells Us. “He would pick up Jayden if he wanted to be held, immediately calming the boy down.”

Say Trawick’s friends:

“He is absolutely fantastic with the boys,” a Trawick pal enthuses. “When you see him with them, you wouldn’t think for a moment that he wasn’t their dad. He treats the kids like they are his own.”

“[Jason] seems ready to take on the responsibility of a single mum with two kids.”

Granted, K-Fed isn’t exactly a tough act to follow. Come to think of it, Britney isn’t exactly up for Mother of the Year, either. And if Jason and Britney take their relationship to the next level, Jason might just be the best parent in Sean or Jayden’s world…

Maybe we should all hope they get married.

A source says, “He’s really trying to clean up her image. He’s making a lot of changes to the people around her, everyone is a bit on edge they could be the next one to be replaced.”

It’s also being said that she doesn’t really care. She’s off in her own little world, oblivious to everything going on around her.

“She is so out of it she doesn’t care anymore. She just does what she’s told and is totally in her world, she’ll even call people at all hours of night for a general conversation and acts like it’s the middle of the day or something.”

That surely doesn’t sound good. I hope she’s not out of it, because that would mean that she isn’t really any better. Unless of course they mean out of it, like having no say in what goes on. I can understand that.

According to a Britney insider: “Britney’s rule is clear zero tolerance. No drink. No drugs. If you do not comply, you do not tour with Britney.”

Apparently, the confidential contract bans crew members from using drugs and even alcohol for the duration of the tour.

That contract apparently covers all of Brit’s 277-member crew, including the 150 Australian staffers.

With Brit’s record, I guess she can’t take the chance of anyone inadvertently peer-pressuring her back to Crazytown. She has just recently gotten her sanity back and is working to get full custody rights of her kids, so I can understand some of the concern.

Still, banning alcohol? Even off-duty? Doesn’t that seem a little excessive?

I always assumed that Britney was drugged-out during her head-shaving days, but I never really know what her drug of choice was. K-Fed’s been known to enjoy a little reefer every now and then, did he have to sign the drug test contract? If not, does that mean he can’t come along?

Guess the staff will just have to abuse prescription drugs or something while the tour goes through the land down under.
