This is the Yummy Pink Cupcake Apron & Chef’s Hat from Etsy seller, Key2Life. You can find a variety of fun fabric options including patterns for little boys. This handmade set features a fully adjustable neck strap, so the outfit fits children ages 3-10. The Chef’s Hat is fully adjustable and fits a child’s head measuring 18-22 inches round. This is such a lovely idea. A group of craft sellers on the etsy website have joined forced to donate their profits to Doctors Without Borders in Haiti. They’ve already raised $US27,000 and there are still many beautiful handmade items left for sale.

One that caught my eye is the little purple fellow above, by seller Jennifer Klingbeil. Made out of wool felt, he’s $US20, international shipping included.

They may give off the illusion of simplicity, but these egg-shaped, merino-and-mohair wool royals are the result of a painstaking needle-felting process that, when all pieces are completed and boxed, takes over 6,000 individual pokes to complete. Of course, that won’t matter to your kiddoes, who’ll simply be delighted just to play with the plump, lightweight characters. But when you place your order, you’ll at least be able to understand why it takes an extra few weeks to have everything crated and ready to go.
