The newest included a bombshell…that Lindsay Lohan was hooking up with Health Ledger at the time of his death. Well, at least that’s what her mum, Dina Lohan, thought. Radaronline.com has the tapes and this is what they say:

Heath’s passing apparently devastated Lindsey and her family was worried what she might do.

“Because when she’s drunk or takes an Adderall with it she will do something like Heath Ledger did in a second without thinking,” continued Dina.

“She cannot be alone,” Dina told Michael. “When she sleeps here she sleeps with me… she has fears from being little and what you did to us.”

Oh Michael Lohan, why can’t you just keep this all to yourself? And really, why on earth were you recording these phone conversations in the first place? And do you think Lindsay was really gettin’ jiggy with Heath? Or is Dina just being a drama queen?

Actress Michelle Williams was spotted with daughter Matilda arriving at JFK airport in New York City. She was pretty pissed off at being spotted by the paps, and really, wouldn’t you be too? To escape the prying eyes of paparazzi, Michelle got a police escort to an awaiting car. Yeah, glad I don’t have those problems when travelling with the kids…

It’s awesome that Michelle makes an effort to keep Heath’s family involved in Matilda’s life, and they in hers. Matilda’s memories of her father might fade as she grows up, but they won’t ever let her forget him, or how much he loved her.

On the one hand, there are tonnes of kids whose parents died and who don’t have the kind of resources Matilda Ledger does, not to mention that Ledger was earning millions a picture and I am sure her mother, Michelle Williams, does OK as well. And if she really is in danger of being in need, well, why weren’t her parents setting aside some cash for her future when they make that kind of money?

These guys would arguably serve society better by donating their pay cheques to a charity that helps, say, kids without health insurance before ponying up for a child whose mum ought to be able to take her to a doctor whenever she needs it.

On the other hand – this was Ledger’s last role and had he completed it, that money presumably would have at least partially gone to his daughter’s care. I think it’s a sweet gesture by three actors, fathers themselves, who would want the same done for their kid in the same situation.

Heath Ledger died from an accidental overdose a year ago in January and he left behind a daughter – Matilda Rose, 3 – with actress Michelle Williams. Heath’s family has been very vocal about their close relationship with Williams and how much they adore Matilda.

Heath’s dad, Kim Ledger said, “Michelle keeps her [Matilda] very closeted. I [don't] think she’ll really know very much about the fuss of what’s going on (referring to Oscar night), which I think is a good thing.”

And the rumors of a rocky relationship with Michelle? Not true.

Ledger added, “We’re very close with Michelle. She’s going an amazing job with Matilda, and we speak all the time so we’re in constant contact and always will be.”

I believe Michelle wants what’s best for her child,and she would never deny her a relationship with her grandparents. They are a connection to her late father and that’s very important for her.

Matilda will also get all of her father’s awards, including his Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his role as The Joker in The Dark Knight.

Heath’s family – his father Kim, mother Sally and sister Kate — accepted on his behalf and all three gave an amazingly calm and classy speech, pointing out that his daughter Matilda is the one who will get the golden statuette: “We really wish you were here, but we proudly accept this award on behalf of your beautiful Matilda.” Michelle Williams will keep it for her until Matilda turns 18. If Heath and Michelle had been married, it would have gone to her. Executive Director of the Academy Bruce Davis said, “I don’t think we have ever had a situation like this.”

It’s all very sad, but Heath’s mother said, “Tonight, we are choosing to celebrate and be happy for what he has achieved,” so I’m going to go with that. Congratulations, dude.

Heath Ledger has just won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his role as the Joker in The Dark Knight. The award was accepted by his father, mother and sister who were given a standing ovation by the Oscar’s audience.

“We proudly accept this award on behalf of your beautiful Matilda,” said his sister Kate, while his mother Sally said that the award would have “humbly validated Heath’s quiet determination to be validated by his peers in an industry he so loved.”

Aww. There may have been some tears here when they spoke. What a nice keepsake for Matilda to grow up with.
