She told Britain’s Grazia magazine, “We’re continuing to have a very close relationship and I’m here to support him as a friend. That won’t stop. He’s a wonderful person and I’ll stand by him forever.”

Since the couple hit splitsville in 2003, their relationship has improved over time.

“Jude and I were amazing friends before we became lovers, and when we were lovers it was passionate and wonderful.

“But we still have a lot of the things in common that we did before. For all the silliness and difficulties, we’ve always really cared for each other and we’re both a hundred per cent committed to the kids and doing the right thing by them. Everything’s fine.”

I’m very curious to find out when Jude will be seeing his baby daughter Sophia and if he will be introducing her to Sadie and the kids…

It’s being said that Jude “felt it would be easiest to just pay Samantha and hope that she moved on and left him alone. But now he is feeling very torn. He is on the brink of going to see Sophia but first of all, he wants to make sure his older kids feel totally secure and to make them feel they are involved in what is one of the biggest decisions of his life.”

Hopefully his kids heard it from their dad first, and not some tabloid newspaper. That would be just awful. If he does take the time to be a part of Sophie’s life it would be nice if they all got along without resentment.

Now that the results are in Jude will be stopping in for a visit. His lawyers say that the meeting will be soon.

Samantha is thankful the whole deal is finally over. She knew that there were questions about her daughters paternity, though she never had any doubts.

Jude said that he would financially support Samantha in raising his daughter. Does that mean she’ll never have to work again, or is it the type of support that just helps with the bills and childcare expenses?

Whoa. Up to this point, I’ve been far more critical of Samantha Burke in the baby drama stemming from her and Jude Law’s one-night stand.

Now, I can see that I’ve made a mistake. While I was hating on gold-digger Samantha Burke, I was neglecting to give Jude his fair share. What a douche! Now, he’s worse than just a womanising, self-centred movie star (that much was pretty much a given) — he’s a deadbeat dad!

She’s your daughter dude, you’re going to have to suck it up, paparazzi or not.

Samantha has reportedly named their baby girl Sophia — good choice.

Says a source:

“I doubt Jude was there,” says the source. “Besides the financial support, he’s not involved.”

Looks like Samantha’s plans to steal attention from Jude’s big Broadway opening have been foiled by mother nature. Still, I imagine she’s still game to sell the first baby pictures and collect her quarter million or so.

If you’ll remember, it was only two months ago when Jude Law finally admitted that he’d had a one-night stand with Samantha Burke during the filming of Sherlock Holmes, and somehow both parties had failed to use adequate protection.

Now, the two feuding parents have a lovely baby girl together and here’s to hoping that they can get their shiz together for Sophia.

Samantha Burke, who had a brief affair with Jude Law earlier this year, is about to give birth to the actor’s fourth child.

While it’s nice that Burke’s not grinding her axe just yet, with entries titled “Who Are You To Judge” and “Golddigger? Don’t Think So.” you can almost guarantee that future entries will feature titles like “OMG. What a Deadbeat!” or “Don’t Go See Jude’s New Movie!” But hey, then again, Jude Law made his bed, now he’s got to lie in it.

Hey, here’s something to hope for: Maybe Jude and Samantha will have internet feuds one day.

According to pals, Sadie is “furious” for Jude being so “irresponsible.”

The source said,

“It’s really hard for the children and they’re her main concern. She is deep down furious with Jude — not for having the fling but for being irresponsible — and wants him to pay whatever it takes to keep the family protected from further embarrassment.

“Jude’s children, particularly Raffie, are bewildered by the whole thing. They hate seeing their dad in the news and reading about his private life.

Sadie is putting on a brave face but deep down is shocked by the whole thing, too.”

Jude and Sadie are parents to Rafferty, 12, Iris, 8, and Rudy, 6.  Sadie has a son, Finlay Munro, 18, from a previous relationship.

Samantha Burke is due October 6, and is expecting girl, who she’s named Sophie.

$US180,000 is a lot of dough.  But that is, apparently, what Samanta Burke wants Jude Law to pay her per year since she’s having his baby.

According to sources, the 24-year-old model, who is due in October, wants $US12,000-a-month child support and $US2,400 a month for rent and other bills.

Family members of Burke’s also want the 36-year-old actor to be present for the birth of the child, due October 6th- the same day Jude is set to appear on Broadway in Hamlet.

An insider revealed,

Jude has said he is happy and able to fulfill his parental responsibilities. But [Samantha] is getting nervous and wants it in writing.  She’s had meetings with her legal team.  Jude wants this resolved as quickly as possible.

This is Samantha’s first child and baby number four for Jude.

Model Samantha Burke, the 24-year-old who is pregnant with actor Jude Law’s fourth child, snapped some photos of her growing belly.

Samantha is due in October and has decided to name her daughter Sophie.  Jude has said he will support Samantha and their child.  He’s dad to (with ex-wife Sadie Frost) Rafferty, 12; Iris, 8; Rudy, 6; and stepdad to Sadie’s oldest son, Munro, 18.
