You know what’s going to be hot this spring for stylish yet thrifty parents out there? Target’s newest mash-up with the venerable fabric/print design company Liberty of London. And who is one mum who got a head start celebrating this new colorful and lovely line? Naomi Watts…

The actress and mum of two hosted the opening of the Pop Up Store that opened on Wednesday in New York City. She wore a gorgeous piece from the collection, a peacock printed top. And too bad she doesn’t have any girls, the Liberty of London line happens to have some amazing floral frocks for those little chic girls out there.  But there are items for the boys like shorts printed with little cars. But she could always pick up on the limited edition piggy banks for her boys or perhaps a throw pillow or two?

According to the paparazzi stalking the celebrity mum in New York City yesterday, that’s how Naomi makes sure both her boys get their fresh air.

Of course, she could just get a double stroller, but maybe Sasha and Kai are getting too big for that now. And hey, what are dads for, right? That’s assuming that Liev was the nanny, which he probably was.

Look at that stroller she’s got Sasha in – it’s one part stroller, one part sleeping bag… a mummy bag. That’s awesome.

It is cold, cold, cold outside. Luckly Naomi Watts is good at bundling her two boys up. The actress was spotted walking along the chilly New York City Streets with her kids in a dual jogging stroller. Her older son, Sasha, keep warm in a 7A.M. Meanwhile, her partner Liev Schreiber has been busy working in New York City.

He’s set to star in a Broadway play with Scarlett Johansson called A View From the Bridge. During promotional interviews for the show, he talked about how having children has affected his and Naomi’s lives with regards to work.

“Kids make a big difference. You want to be there all the time, and when you’re both working, it’s hard,” he told America’s Time Out magazine.

“You gotta negotiate with each other and support each other in that regard. 

”I think it’s harder when both of you are really busy. Like in any profession, it’s difficult. You want to make sure you have time to invest in your family. It’s a challenge but it’s worth it.”

Naomi Watts, 40, told Jimmy Kimmel the other night, “Sasha is totally besotted with his father. He calls out for him at night.” And daddy Liev Schreiber “is definitely hands-on and gets up for Sasha. He’s just not as quick. Men don’t move as quickly. Unlike the mothers, who are right there before the first cry.”

Sasha, now 18-1/2 months old, calls out for “dada” quite a bit these days, especially now that there’s younger brother Samuel in the picture. Sammy is now 10 weeks old, and this has Sasha a little confused. With the regular nursing for Sammy, Sasha thinks he should be snacking all the time, too. Not that Naomi is nursing Sasha these days.

“Oh,” she said, “Sasha’s got a full head of teeth now, so, ooooh, no.”

Even though Sasha is showing a bit of jealousy toward Sammy, Naomi is quick to point out, “The love is equally divided. There is just enough love to go ’round.”

Naomi’s latest film, “The International,” is out in theaters now.
