Our first Little Tikes Cozy Coupe was a sun-bleached-but-still-rugged gem we scored for $5 at a garage sale. By the time baby #3 arrived nearly six years later, Cozy Coupe was still going strong — which isn’t to say we wouldn’t have traded it in for one of these adorable 30th-anniversary editions of the classic ride-on, this time with a pair of bugged-out eyes that’ll have some little ones thinking Cars. Other new features include a removable floor and a rear handle for grown-ups; everything else is pretty much just as we remember it.

$169.00 from DealsDirect, and something tells me you won’t see these at garage sales anytime soon.

You got your white sheep and your occasional black sheep but what little kid gets to ride on their very own pink sheep? The lucky one who gets the Electric Pink Rocking Sheep by Danish Crafts. This fluffy hot pink sheep is an adorable option for the nursery that goes beyond just the black and white. But it’s an expensive option. It goes for $US575 from Vivre here.

Students of the product design studio at The Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague recently held an exhibition featuring including a collection of
plastic toy cars for young children aged 1 – 4 years old. The tiny vehicles ranged from more aerodynamic shapes to ones that took on more the form of an animal (such as the one above). Mini ramps were provided in an open area where children were given the opportunity to test out their piloting skills on a couple of the prototypes.

Can we expect to see Fisher Price rolling one of these out soon?
